Feeling Festive

Edith wasn't going to slow us down in celebrating such a fun time of year with our family and friends. Thank goodness for her easy demeanor ... We have lots of places to be and lots of fun faces to see during the holiday season! I will forever cherish these pictures of CGH in his grandpa shawl cardigan and Edie in her Mini Boden corduroy romper ... it was one of the first pieces I bought her before she was born. These were taken before church the first Sunday in December.

Our pals, the McGees, hosted an evening Pajama Party with a visit from Santa and Mrs. Clause that ended up being so much fun! Charlie was quick to jump on the big man's lap and list off several things he would like this year. It is always so much fun to see he and his friends together. Edith went right along and visited as well.

Charlie had his school performance, and Christmas party the week before they let out for Christmas break.

Thankful to have Aunt Aggie in town to help us with our crafts!
That night we all attended his choir performance at church.

With our church pals ...
William Ross, Luke Squires and Jack George

Sunday was brunch with Santa at HHCC.

On the Top of the list for 2015 - Skylanders Swap Force!

Jack G., William, Charlie, Jack S., Alex, Luke and Smith

The Aunts couldn't stay away of course ...
They made their way back to Springfield to help with the ginger bread house making.

With Henry

Time to Decorate ... CGH was a big help this year!

The Brawners, The Russells, The Georges, The Rosses, and The Squires - We sure missed the Sutherlands!

We celebrated with our annual Soccer Mom's Dinner - where we include the husbands - at HHCC for the second year in a row. The white elephant exchange is always a hoot with this group. Such a lovely evening topped off with plenty of laughter.

We partied right that weekend --- Saturday night we attended an Ugly Sweater Party as well.

Such a fun time ...
it will be a wonder if we are invited back next year!

Another Sunday, Another holiday outfit for Edith Louise!
And another choral performance for CGH

The Huckle Buckle Party at the Turner's House always puts us in the Christmas Spirit! This year was extra fun to have Edith Louise with us and to introduce her to more friends.

Our sitters, Miss Anna and Miss Spencer, got a taste of wrangling both kiddos!

The Ladies of Provence celebrated with our annual cocktail party and gift exchange. This year it was graciously hosted by Cindy and Lauren. Always a fun evening with my dear co-workers.

Wear your PJ's to school day ... A CGH favorite!

Grandma and Grandpa insisted we make the trip to Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO to see the Christmas lights this year. This was CGH's first time and Edith's too of course! Aunt Aggie came along too and we sure had a wonderful time.

Charlie loved the parade ...
We also met up with my sweet college friend Sara Brummitt and her sweet daughter Peyton!

The Turner Girls stopped by to drop gifts and visit!
