My Weekend Warriors

Any one who knows my husband knows he obsesses about his lawn. Don't get me wrong, I love pulling up to our house to see the green grass but Josh loves everything about being in the yard. I'm thankful. Seems the gene has been passed down because he had a little helper ALL weekend!


Our good friends at Sutherland's Lumber (shout out Melissa- make sure you tell Tom I mentioned this please) had a 50% off sale this weekend on all plants, trees and bushes! 50% OFF!! What a deal! We furnished our front beds for a few hundred bucks! Love it! 


Here are a few of the "before" pics...

We moved this bushes in the front around in the late fall - as you can tell by their brownish tint - they clearly didn't like their new home! They got ripped out and replaced with 10 mature new box woods! Yippee.

While dad slaved in the yard, 
Charlie and I iced a cake for a special treat!
