Another Easter come and gone. This spring has been so amazing, the warm weather and short rain showers have made everything so green. We had so much fun partaking in all our outdoor Easter activities this year! We started off on Palm Sunday at the Helicopter Egg Drop at our church. This is Charlie's 2nd time to attend and this year was so much fun. The church always has so many fun things for the kiddos to do. Sugar cookie icing, face painting and a band. Then they line us all up and we watch for the helicopter to come around the corner and drop thousands of eggs filled with candy. We Methodists do it big for Easter! It was a lot of fun and we were joined by several of Charlie's friends.
William of course and Charlie were side by side all day!
And our good friend Clay Russell was there.
Double fisting our smarties.

Workin on a starburst I believe
On Thursday we had Charlie's class party. His teachers are always so sweet to include the parents. We did crafts, hunted eggs and had treats. Josh took him to school on this particular morning and I told him to dress him cute for his party. When I arrived at Charlie's school I was a little puzzled by the brown sweats he was sporting with his springie polo. Seems there was an "incident" and mom needs to update the backup outfit to something more seasonally appropriate. So don't mind the brown sweats he had a great time!
Saturday morning we packed up the car and headed to Sedalia for Easter with the family. This is the 3rd year we have spent Easter here and it is so much fun. Charlie has a really great time being with his second cousins! We started some really fun traditions last year and had another wonderful family weekend together!
The bunny found us at the Holiday Inn Express! Charlie scored all kinds of goodies. Candy, a buggy kit, a new "big" Finn McMissile, sidewalk chalk and some new shades.
The Easter Bunny found MeeMaw & Baba's room too!
We joined my Grandma Alice's old church for Easter service and then headed to the country club for brunch. With all the attention and all the baskets, as we arrived the bunny extended his for Charlie to choose a piece of candy, a little confused he grabbed the handle and said "thank you." What's with the ONE piece, I usually get my own basket!!

I missed a pic of the whole Luckenbill clan. But here is Charlie and Jack
We saved our hunt until after lunch.
I love the following pics.
I looked over in church and thought, what a blessing to be sitting here with my 90 year old grandmother on Easter Sunday.
Sweet Charlie was so eager to show "Big MeeMaw" the eggs he was collecting.
He even shared one of his gummie worms.
Sharing more of his loot.
Another Easter for the books.
Charlie enjoyed every second of his holiday weekend.
Looking forward to all this spring has in store for our family.
