A time to reflect.

What a year 2011 was for us.
Lot's of memories made.

January brought snow, our first swimming class,
and a wrap up on home improvement projects...
Josh was thrilled!

February brought a day of LOVE
and a new found obsession with mylar balloons for Charlie!

A weekend of Birthday Bliss spent
with some of my closest family and friends!
What a GREAT surprise!

....and an OVER THE TOP 30th Birthday party
hosted by my amazing husband and boss!

March brought a visit to Sedalia for a smile from one of the most wonderful women in the world, My Grandma Alice,
warmer temps and the promise of spring!

April brought us sunshine and the Easter bunny

In May I celebrated being a Mother
and the Mother that taught me everything I know!

May also took us to our happy place for a whole week...
Rosemary Beach, FL

we celebrated several BBQ's with friends...

... and a visit from our Iowa family members!

June brought popsicles, crocs and swimmie diaper dress codes!

Lots of back yard time...

And a day to celebrate the two best dads around!

June also marked our first official Habel Fish Fry!

This summer was ALL about the yard...
Josh was a busy weekend warrior!
But I'd say it all paid off.
More changes to come in 2012 - stay tuned.

We inherited the 56 Willy's Jeep Truck -
with the promise of a pass down on
Charlie's 16th birthday of course!

... and celebrated dad's 60th birthday
and the 4th of July in KC with a fun family weekend!

August took us back to the beach -
this time Tybee Island, GA with the Armstrong side.
Happy 60th to mom too...

And back together with the Shoemaker side
to celebrate Grandma Alice turning ninety!

September meant back to school
for this little dinosaur lover...

and a Happy 31st for dad...

and a Hawkeye football weekend in Iowa City

October brought us together for a
cystic fybrosis walk to help Kadyn find a cure!

...and a Larger than Life
Backyard Bounce House 2nd Birthday Bash!

... and to top it off
Halloween as a dino with best bud William.

November was all about the leaves

turkey day in Iowa

and life as a farmer!

Christmas brought us joy on so many different levels
through the eyes of a two year old.

And thoughts of how truly blessed we are
to serve a risen lord and savior!

What a year it has been...
Looking forward to a happy, healthy, exciting 2012!
