NO more D!

Charlie had his two year appointment on Friday - I was in the middle of our Xmas open house at the shop so Josh took him alone. Here is the report:


3 ft tall - 90%
30 pounds - 75%
50 % for head circumference


Overall - Healthy happy little toddler.


Then the bad news... NO MORE D! Charlie LOVES his pacifier, which he fondly refers to as his D. His doctor says his teeth are all in place so there is no more room for a pacifier. He is doing really pretty well. Josh came up with this technique - when he asks for it we say "EEEWWWW YUCK! D's are for babies, not big boys like Charlie!"  Seems to be working so far! Josh says it is the one thing he has contributed to parenting him so far!

Two is turning out to be not so terrible. He has his moments but for the most part Charlie is a pretty well behaved little one. 


He is a good listener but does enjoy the word no on occasion. 

Charlie is...


*waking up around 7:30 a.m. going down around 8:00 
*taking a 2.5 to 3 hour nap daily
*still eating really well - most anything you will give him with grilled cheese and turkey dogs at the top of the list
*counting to 10 on his own and filling in up until around 14
*calling me "money" and his father "Josh" some times - just to get a laugh I think
*helping himself to whatever it is he is craving at the time in the fridge or the pantry!
