I am finally getting around to posting on our fabulous Easter weekend. Sorry for the delay, glad to get it done since we head to Florida on Friday, and you KNOW how many pics I will take there!
Aunt Aggie came home on Thursday of Easter weekend to catch Charlie's last swimming lesson - a must see on her list. She was such a big help and we of course loved having her in town. Saturday morning we packed up the car and headed to Sedalia to meet the rest of the Shoemaker clan. Pulled in just in time for lunch and then to see the boys tee off for their 2nd annual Easter golf outing. Just from lunch I could tell we were in for a fun weekend for Charlie - he loves being around my cousin Whitney's sweet twins (Jack and Ava)
We made it back to the house and somehow escaped the rain for lots of outdoor time...
Aggie taught him lots of new tricks over her visit.
Found this in the garage...
Relay races with grandpa
Starting line
Dying eggs - Aunt Aggie was so creative and helpful!
Icing cookies
Snuggling on grandma - right before he crashed for a 4 hour nap!
Sweet Jack
Great Grandma Alice squeezing on Baby Henry
Aunt Lisa and Proud mommy Regan too!
We woke up Sunday morning and met the fam at church, then we all headed to the club for lunch. Charlie didn't know quite what to think of the bunny...
Finally, we made it back to the house to hunt our eggs. Sweet Jack and Ava were a big help in this department. They were great at pointing them out!
Charlie had a big time and we all had a wonderful holiday weekend. Aggie stayed in town for another day so she and I could play! I miss my sisters so much and wish they were closer but I am also so thankful for the effort they put forth in being such a big part of Charlie's life! Wouldn't have it any other way!
