The Beach... Part One.

I am finally getting around to uploading some of our hundreds (literally) of pictures from our beach vacation with my family.

It seemed like every time I turned around Charlie was doing something new.. and of course it was up to me to document all these new things - Josh thinks I am crazy but I catch him more times than he would like to admit going back through the old pictures with a HUGE smile on his face.

We started off the trip on Tuesday (August 24th) afternoon around Charlie's nap time. Yes, that's right, we drove. First and last time for that adventure I am pretty sure... we are not cross country driving family types I am afraid. I guess we realized this about
Jonesboro, Arkansas. The first night we made it as far as Aunt Aggie's apartment in Huntsville, Alabama. We woke up Wednesday afternoon with the plan of heading over to Aggie's new store, she is the Visual coordinator for the Anthropolgie in Huntsville. After a smooth hour and a half detour on a commute that should have taken 10 minutes, we made it. I was completely blown away at all she had accomplished and created. Her displays were so wonderful and I am so glad we finally made it! We are so proud of you Aunt Aggie and wish you all the best in Huntsville.

We then hit the road to complete our journey to Tybee. We pulled onto the island about 7:30 that evening. My sister Lucy was already there and we were beat! Charlie did great overall, only a few restless moments along the way but they were to be expected with ALL that driving.

After a good nights sleep we woke up to a great beach day...

Too bad Charlie doesn't get any attention! Looks like all had a great time.
