What a week it has been. Charlie is two weeks old today, I can hardly believe it! We have had lots of fun visitors this week and we even ventured out in to the world for some walks and another Provence visit. Is it bad that is the only place he has been?
Sunday Charlie met a new friend in Broden Cantrell, our friends Kristin and Boone's little boy. Broden seemed interested in Sweet Charlie but enjoyed Gus and the cheese dip Josh had made a little more. We spent the afternoon in Aunt Sassy's neighborhood on a long walk, it was beautiful outside.
We had some wonderful dinners brought this week by Betsy Miller and Shannon Gregg. Not having to worry about dinner has been wonderful, we honestly have enough food to feed our neighborhood! I am never going to lose this baby weight at this pace.
Aunt Aggie made another trip back to Springfield on Wednesday, we celebrated with the ladies of Provence at dinner on Wednesday and she helped me run some errands yesterday. Sweet Charlie loves his Aunt Aggie and is looking forward to meeting Aunt Monica on Wednesday of next week.
Yesterday was a BIG day! Kaydn and Koy Carroll came to the house with their mom Katie to meet Charlie. Meghan and Cortni brought lunch and we had a great time visiting! Looking around my living room you could have never told me last year at this time we would have these three beautiful additions to our lives, my how the times are changing! Katie is a wonderful mother, so graceful toting around those darling twins, really someone to be admired!
Charlie went 5 hours last night before waking up for a feeding! I love him sooo much and even that much more after a decent night's sleep! Which was even better since Josh got up in the attic last night and drug down our winter bedding with the down comforter, I didn't want to get out of that nest! He is really getting into a good routine I feel like and I hope it just gets better.
Today is sunny and supposed to get into the seventies... couldn't ask for a better weekend ahead either! My parents are stopping through tomorrow and Aggie and I have a full day planned for Sunday.. lot's of projects.
On mornings like this... it is hard not to Thank God for all the blessings he has so graciously given each of us. God is Good.
