The boys, Josh and Charlie, made the trip to Iowa City without me to join our family and some friends, for the Hawkeye football game the first weekend of September. Charlie and Landon Schultz had a big day together celebrating a big win for the home team.
My mom came and spent the weekend nesting with me. We finished Edith's room, washed about 18 loads of baby clothes and did some supply shopping to get ready for her arrival.
After a soccer game early September, we managed to make it to Wickman Gardens for their Fall Fest. It was a warm day and we made the most of it with our pals Drew and Clay. They had a petting zoo, balloon animals and a barrel ride. Such a fun day!
The next day we picked our mums to get the yard ready for fall. Charlie found a furry pal on one of our plants!
This year Charlie's Pre -K class participates in a weekly show and tell, they coordinate it with the letter of the week. This was M week - we took our favorite Map of Fish.
Our Pal Link turned 5 and had a real live Power Ranger at his party! To say Charlie was impressed would be an understatement. He keeps asking if he can have the Red Ranger at his party ... Truth is, it was Hannah's dad (Link's Grandfather) Can you imagine Grandpa Dan in a Red Ranger costume?
This would end up being a pic of the boys on our final Sunday night pallet night before sis came. Relaxation at it's finest!
