Sweeeet Summertime - According to my iPhone

The slower pace of summer is something I am always more than ready for ... the lax bedtimes, the lazy mornings, the weekends at the pool -- It can never come soon enough for our family.

We crammed all kinds of fun in to the summer of 2014. I finally got my energy back right as it warmed up and I was determined to make up for some lost time! This post is a run down of some highlights I found on my phone ... random at times but all great memories that have put a smile on my face just goin over them again.

We celebrated Traci's Birthday - 
and Claire's homecoming back in June at Aviary

Made a trip to Iowa in June to spend time with family, 

and compare Baby Bumps with Monica, Josh's sister, 

we are due the same day - both with girls!

We (well, Josh did the labor) took the plunge and painted our brick fireplace,something I have talked about doing since we moved in ... this is mid project ... it's all done now and we love it!

This is a shot Charlie's sitter sent me of him one afternoon. He's headed to space with his pals if you were wondering ..

Celebrated another successful soccer season with the Avengers!

Charlie had a wonderful time taking tennis lessons this summer at HHCC. He learned so much and enjoyed some fun times with his friends!

We had a blast celebrating Leo's 1st Bday!

These two helped back Charlie's summer so great. Miss Spencer and Miss Anna did such a wonderful job shuffling him off to all his activities and entertaining him at the pool! We bid them farewell as they both started college in August! We miss them so much and can't wait to be reunited next summer.

Charlie got his first "Big Boy" haircut at the barber shop!

Charlie and Josh participated in the Father/Son campout at HHCC. Complete with a round of laser tag! They did great and made it all night! Josh even had to wake Charlie up the next morning to come home ... 

2014 was a Summer to remember!
