Spring Time Fun

Winter was LONG ...  long and cold. When Spring finally decided to show her beautiful face - we were all thrilled, to say the least. Soccer season kicked off in April - The Avengers were together again, for their third round. Before the first game we met our pals the Sutherland's for a pre-game lunch at Sunshine Valley Farms.

Soccer really clicked for Charlie this go round.
He scored three goals this season and really enjoyed himself!

Game Faces!

We had a few days that felt like Summer Time - That only meant one thing, Slip and Slides and Snow cones with friends! Cant think of a better way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

We cooked out too!

The Circus came back to town and this year we joined forces with the Russell clan!
The boys all chose light sabers as their souvenir - and we all had such a good time!

Charlie and Miss Anna brushing up on tennis

We got a little golf practice in too

This video makes me smile every time - just a little dance routine CGH came up with and asked me to send over to Grandpa ... Too Much.

Our first visit to Pineapple Whip -
and the best news of the summer, they opened one right on East Sunshine!

We took a class trip to the zoo with Charlie's school.
Such a fun morning with the animals and his little pals.

Doughnut Date with the neighbors on the back patio!

Grandpa came to visit for CGH's final soccer game - he scored one goal and was so proud!

The final picture was taken on Mother's Day ... We spent the morning in Carthage with my mom, going to church and then to an airplane hanger for lunch to watch the planes land. That afternoon I sipped iced tea and watched my boys play t-ball in our shady back yard. Josh picked up Heritage Cafeteria fried chicken for dinner - a Mother's Day tradition - and an apple pie. My heart was full after a day of so much love.
