Charlie received SIX new costumes for his birthday from his grandma and grandpa - the perfect gift for our dress up wearing super hero want to be! The all black batman being the favorite, we went through a few options this year - Ninja Turtle for the zoo and Captain America for PDO with Batman making an appearance at Pre School Party and also for trick or treating.
This year I was in charge of the party at school. We had treats, read a book and played a fun bean bag toss game. This mama was worn out ... I'm hoping I remember NOT to volunteer for this next year. October is overbooked to the upteenth power for us. Decorating Provence for Christmas, Charlie's birthday parties at home and school, Halloween party at school and then hosting all our friends for trick or treating - it is SO FUN but I am always happy to see November 1st on the calendar. Charlie, not so much. November is a bit of detox for him!
