January and February are tough with a toddler. The daylight hours are so short and the outdoor time seems few and far between. I enjoy the weekends after the holiday season so much - Quiet and slow, almost uneventful - perfect for me. We spend lots of Friday nights with friends and pizza and lots of Sunday afternoons napping and baking. No yard work and lots of football. 2013 has started off well for the Happy Habel Family. Somehow we have escaped any major illness this winter - (knock on wood- hurry up spring).
We have enjoyed countless fires in the fireplace, lots of home cooked comfort food, lots of baked goods, and snuggles on the couch. We have had a few snow days and have loved every minute - But we have had enough, thank you winter but we are ready for Spring!
Here are a few pictures of Charlie's first bowling outing with the Buzbee and Russell Families. So Fun!
We attended William's 4th Birthday Party at Springfield Gymnastics -
Dressed in our finest Super Hero Attire! A great time for all!
One of many Friday Night Family Pizza Nights at our house!
This has become one of my favorite winter traditions - but I will happily trade it for cheesburgers on the grill and the slip and side - HURRY up spring and summer - The Habels are ready for you!
