The end of April was Charlie's official Half Birthday. Don't tell him - we didn't "celebrate."
Charlie is growing up right before our eyes. Every day is something new, favorite food, favorite show, new words, new adventures and new accomplishments.
A day in the life of Charlie. Just a little update.
I still have a champion sleeper. Up around 8:00 a.m. most mornings, sometimes earlier/ sometimes later.
Breakfast is still his best meal. While sitting at the "little table" (coffee table) watching Team Umi Zumi or Kung Fu Panda. Cereal, fruit and toast, pancakes or waffles. A new fav is Lucky Charms.
Still in school Tuesday - Wednesday and Thursday 10:00 - 2:00 and home for naps.
Monday and Fridays are spent at home most weeks.
Going to continue Mother's Day Out this summer and start pre-school in the fall.
Naps from 2:00 - 5:00 in the evening. Just in time for mom to get home. Quick family dinner and outside to play until we drag him in kicking and screaming. He loves playing "chase" with Gus - all over the yard. We still take lots of family walks around the neighborhood with frequent stops at the local playground.
Favorite Movie: Cars 1 & 2, with Toy Story coming in a close second.
Toys: Still loves dinosaurs, dump trucks and dart guns.
He's growing, taller and slimmer, the slimmer part breaks my heart. He is able to fit into most of his clothes from last summer with a few exceptions. He really prefers to be naked though and most of the time you will find him barefoot. This results in lots of scrapes and bruises around the ankles and some pretty mangled toe nails. Doesn't seem to bother him!
Charlie plays so well with other children which I love and has so many great friends he sees on a regular basis. We have loved having the Larsen's in the neighborhood for park dates. We try and get together with Mr. William as frequently as possible and Mr. Jack Sutherland whenever we can catch him. Drew and Clay Russell will always rank at the top of Charlie's list too. Our neighbors are so great- Charlie loves to watch the Feuerbacher's across the street and they are so sweet to include him and Mr Davis next door is always a good time. Now with our new patio complete we will have lots of good outdoor friend time.
He is so polite as well. Please and Thank You are on the top of Mom's list and he is pretty good about following that rule. He now says "Bless you" when someone sneezes, which I love and "your Yelcome" is another one of my favorites.
Our Baby Boy is growing right before my eyes... Make it STOP!
