Kadyn's Krew

I missed posting this before Charlie's birthday so I am going to add it in here. A good friend of mine Katie and her husband Ryan are the proud parents of Koy and Kadyn, sweet two year old twins. Kadyn was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis when she was only a few weeks old. Since then we have all done all we can to raise money and awareness towards a cure for this horrible disease. Every year we participate in the  CF walk towards the beginning of October at the Rutledge Wilson farm. It is always such a good time and we are always blessed with the most beautiful weather. Kadyn is so sweet and we will continue doing all we can to help her find a cure.

TWO

The Birthday weekend has come and gone, and what a fun one it was! My Charlie Boy is officially two and we have enough new toys to sink a battleship to prove it! We started off the birthday festivities with a little party at school. I took in dinosaur shaped sugar cookies for his classmates to ice, sprinkle and eat. It was a big time and fun for everyone. I got a few pics of his classmates, love them all at their little table in their little room.

Friday night the fam all started rolling in. Dawne and Joe picked up Monica in Branson at the airport, my mom and dad drove in for dinner, and Aggie and Lucy brought up the rear. So GREAT to have everyone together under one roof to celebrate! It was Joe's birthday on Friday so we had dinner and then a little spice cake for him. These are pics of Charlie assisting with the baking!

This year we decided to celebrate #2 with a backyard bounce house bash. The prep started early Saturday morning with table set up and decorations (my husband LOVES this part). Everyone was so helpful though and we had it put together and ready for the kiddos at 11. The weather could NOT have been more beautiful! We had pizzas delivered, shared some cake and bounced until they couldn't bounce any more!

The whole fam, how special it was to have us all together! They will never know how much it means to Josh and I. The efforts they make to share these memories with us are so great! We LOVE our family so much!

Josh's mom has been talking about giving this to Charlie for his birthday for a while now. He has played on several of his friends trucks and never really been able to manuever them on his own. We thought it would be fun for him once spring rolled around. MUCH to our surprise he got that thing rolling the minute he jumped in! All over the yard he went, loving every minute of it!
